    Great as a kid, still amazing as an adult. Shakes? Tenderloins? Maid-rites? Comfort food of all kinds. If you don't like it you have to be crazy.

    :) If its not broke dont fix it. Avoid the chili, when asked if its made from scratch and if its a good chili, the comment was well I made both, and head bobbed and smiled, so I got the chili and sandwich, the sandwich is always good, however I couldn't eat much of the chili, it wasn't made by an experienced person, there was meat-beans- and enough chili powder for a full pot of chili, inedible! :( I have no idea what the other soups taste like, however she said she made the bean soup too. I didn't risk a taste.

    A must stop in Mason City, they're homemade root beer is phenomenal, tenderloins are awesome, crisscut fries,cheese balls, onion rings, all super good. Can't go wrong with what ya order here !

    You've gotta love the old Maid Rite place! Although the name is different, everything else is the same. Order the onion rings and root beer, too!!!
